I have a love/hate thing with Ina Garten. I hate all the propriety and the big house and the conspicuous display of inconspicuousness when it comes to the blue-bloodedness. But on the other hand, the food looks good and comforting, and the mellow smoothness of her approach to everything puts me into a weird state of low level euphoria, sort of like getting a haircut while on prozac.
