Barbecued Shepherd's Pie

Yep, I barbecued a Shepherd's Pie in the rain on Sunday. And it tasted fantastic!

How crazy is that?

  1. Heh . . . It looked just like an ordinary Shepherd's Pie, but tasted smoked.

    The difference in this case also was that I physically chopped some sirloin (yes, I know lamb is traditional) into fine dice instead of grinding it, and grilled some pearl onions as well. It was truly yummy.

    I should have put up the recipe, though . . .

  2. I approve of this pie. But since it uses beef instead of lamb, it should be called cottage pie. ;-)
