Okay, so I am the absent Montreal singer for the Oakland band. My bad.
But you can listen to my tune, Starring Role as performed last winter. Me on vocals only, Bill on drums, Scott on piano, Michael on bass. Not horrible, could work.
It was on a miserable day in December and I was hungover and had a bad cold and it was the very first time it had ever been performed, so listening back it has many problems but they're all fixable. I don't know why I write these tongue-twister lyrics, as it's gonna be me having to sing them, and this was a definite killer to sing.
I should write in the vein of She Loves You Yeah, Yeah Yeah . . . might make more money while I'm at it.
