Somehow we got invited to the "Gala" opening of the John and Yoko's 30-year anniversary of their "Bed-in" at the Queen Elizabeth hotel in Montreal, at the Museum of Fine Arts. Don't ask how. I'll blog about it later, but meanwhile, here's a miscellaneous jumble of some photos that were taken -- gotta get the scoop on the newspapers, since it'll be all over the place tomorrow.

That looks like a really neat time! Are you playing that piano?
ReplyDeleteNah,
ReplyDeleteIt was playing "Imagine" in the headphones and I was trying to keep up with it. It is really such an incredibly simplistic tune.
Just goes to show, huh.
Is that Brigitte? She gets to star on your blog@
ReplyDeleteYep . . . but "star" is a bit of an exaggeration . . . I still have the feeling, though I know it's not the case, that I'm just writing to entertain myself. Frankly, it rarely occurs to me that anyone is actually reading this (*why*, people? Go read CNN!)
ReplyDeleteWell, if I can't amuse myself I don't suppose I can entertain other people. Not sure Brigitte wants to be part of The Act but I guess the cat's out of the bag now. (Try putting a cat in a burlap bag!)
Right, "star" isn't quite the right word, sorry. I imagine they'll need to make some more words soon, for virtual fame and suchlike...
ReplyDeleteYeah, maybe we could revive that 80s word, "Virtual" as in "VR Star."
ReplyDeleteVR Star on the Information Superhighway! Got a ring to it.
That's better than what I was just thinking: "iFamous"
ReplyDeleteWe could be ifamous! : )
