Words To The Wise

Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato sandwiches, once halved, one half refrigerated, even with Emmenthal and country bread, even made by master sandwich-maker Brigitte,

Are

Not

Reheatable.

Especially at 4:30 a.m.

However, a scotch and ginger ale can always be dehydrated. By my tummy.

  1. Aw. But they're both good cold.

  2. No, no nah nah nah. Sacrilege! My toast and bacon have to be hot. Brigitte makes 'em well, with cucumber slices, aged cheddar or Emmenthal, red onion, lettuce and tomato, so if I only eat half, which is usually the case, I have to remove the cold stuff and just reheat the bread, cheese and bacon and then reinsert the cold stuff, but then the bread always falls apart upon being toasted twice.

    If you have a solution . . .

  3. But the scotch actually can survive till morning for a nice wakeup elixir, semi-warm, when you can't sleep at 5 a.m.

Yep. It's one drink that doesn't go sour overnight.
