Well, people, owning a tiger is an excellent idea. But tigers, especially full-grown tigers, need hands-on care. Plenty of grooming with wire brushes and lots of tussling and physical play is highly recommended.
Also, sleeping with your tiger (even better: tigers) is highly encouraged. They're also very good with kids and pets and strangers.
The more time spent out of the cage, the healthier your tiger will be.
