Happy Halloween
If I see "Spooktacular" or "Boonanza" one more time I think I'm going to scream. But to tell the truth, I actually prefer Halloween over Christmas. Not that I go to costume parties or anything. Kids can't even come around because I live in a secure apartment building. So I'll just try to bring a bunch of healthy snacks (is there such a thing in stores at Halloween?) to the day care where my son used to go. He's in Japan now. It's apparently becoming trendy for Japanese to celebrate Halloween these days. Give me a goddamn break.

going to be in Mtl for 1 night end of Nov and want to take some folks (who live there) out for a good dinner...last time went to JOe Beef and want something of that calibre..any suggestions ? (also went to ' au pieds de cochon' once but these are not big pigeaters) someone mentioned 'Jolie Fou' but I can't find it listed anywhere

ReplyDeleteMy personal favourite is L'Express for a true Montreal experience. There's great steak, super fish, and a really outstanding ravioli appetizer that I sometimes have as my entire meal (with pistachio pate, with lots of bread, wine, and lemon tart for dessert).
