On Brigitte's computer (hmm, must get back to her about that, her desktop is a scene for Lord of the Rings, like where am I, huh? All covered with icons??? Where do I see my pristine image on your desktop, eh, Brigitte?)
Seriously, though, I will put in a petition to Brigitte to duplicate my desktop in a Windows manner so MY YOUTHFUL HANDSOME FACE will be plastered with icons, the names of which might be "Desktop Junk."
Hmm. This is getting out of hand.
But thanks for bringing it to my attention. I always did so want to be a neurosurgeon . . . or an astronaut . . . it just didn't seem to work out. Probably all because of that b••stard Nelson.
Yes . . . I'm lazy. Usually my habit is to have all open windows on the left so I have access to the icons on the right. And I "Arrange by Modification Date" so the whole desktop doesn't get cluttered.
But I have a folder, usually named Desktop Junk XXX into which I throw all the clutter, then back that up on a DVD from time to time, but I've been recently lazy.
But you're right, Macs definitely DO rule! (Sorry, my loyal Windows geezers).
